Omnyon, Inc.:  6/2021-2/2023, Principal Software Engineer, VoIP Software Modernization Program.  Mr. McClure was called on to convert a vital 12 year old Web-enabled Mission System (in Java) that ran on Windows 2016 Server to CentOS 7 Linux.  In the process, he updated the software system to use JDK16 from JDK 8, converted the entire build system from Ant to Maven, and ripped out the legacy Log4J logging system to use the newer SLF4J/Logback.  He also trained the entire Dev Team to use CentOS 7 and Eclipse to develop code, and to use Maven with Shade, WAR, and EAR plugins to build it.  He re-trained the Team System Admins from Windows to Linux and how to install and properly set up Application, Database, and Message Queue Servers and run them as Linux Services. (SAIC):  3/1983-3/1984, Technical Group Lead.  Mr. McClure led an ADP System/Software Support Group for a large project with the U.S. Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces to build and network underground command centers with computers and ship-to-shore telecommunications for real-time command and control. He led a wide variety of software development projects including data base systems, application systems, and communications programming using message queues and inter-process communications. INCO, Inc.:  2/1982-3/1983, Technical Team Lead and Project Manager.  Mr. McClure led several sensitive system/software development projects for ARPA, DIA, and other agencies in the U.S. Intelligence community.  He designed and developed a system performing detailed analysis on communications networks.  He wrote graphics applications, system programs, and data base applications.  He developed some of the initial Internet application protocol suite for TCP/IP v4.
